As Club Captain of Coventry Hearsall Golf Club I will be leading a team of 8 players including myself, Paul Wilkinson, Ian McCains, Mark Swaffield, Garry Adams, Dean Watts, Danny Kavanagh and Kiwi in taking on the 24 hour golf challenge starting Thursday 24th August 5pm - finishing 5pm Friday, to raise money for Flory's Story.

Flory’s Story is a fundraising initiative in the name of Florence Swaffield, a 4 year old girl from Coventry who suffers from a rare genetic disorder called CLN2 Batten Disease. As Florence gets older she will lose her mobility, sight etc. and sadly is not expected to make her teenage years. All proceeds will go towards provision of treatment, research, equipment and services for Florence and children in her position. We will aim to support any project/charity that benefits those suffering with CLN2 such as; BDFA (Batten Disease Family Association), Birmingham Childrens Hospital and local services that provide exceptional support for Florence.
