I've raised £500 to Help Stuart Lucock complete the remainder of his bucket list

I wasn’t going to start a donations page but the request has been huge from the general public to start one so they can help to complete my fathers bucket list.
My fathers story -
Towards the end of 2013, my dad Stuart had a totally unexpected stroke during the night. After being rushed into hospital they carried out various tests to check what the cause was & 2014 we got the result. It was confirmed as cancer which had been underlying but wasn't sure exactly where it was on his body.
After more tests were carried out at Barts hospital, Central London. They confirmed he had developed Thyroid cancer at the start of 2015.
He went on to have his Thyroid surgically removed in 2015 which has left him with a very deep, croaky voice as his vocal chords didn't recover which was one of the potential risks / effects of the surgery.
We thought that would be the end of the pain & the cancer but unfortunately the surgery was too late, the cancer cells had already moved on to other parts of his body including this lymph nodes & lungs. The cancer has had a significant impact on him in other ways too, He has COPD arthritis and osteoporosis which means he can only move with crutches for short distances or his wheelchair if he goes shopping properly with my mum who had to quit her job as betting shop manager to become his full time carer.
Stuart has had various meetings with consultants & doctors who have tried their hardest to clear him of cancer, He has had radioactive therapy twice but it hasn’t worked. The cells are still there & unfortunately spreading through his body.
Friday 28th September we got the news we was all dreading, the consultants have said there’s nothing more that they can do for my dad & is now classed as palliative. During the weekend he come up with the idea of writing a list of things he would like to do before his time does come & he leaves us. Top of the list is St Paddy’s day at Cheltenham 2019, I posted a tweet on the Sunday night saying I would do everything possible to get him there & the reaction has been totally overwhelming from the racing community & general public. There’s various things he would love to do before he goes all with huge meaning to him although i‘m sure of his dream trip to Vegas is a bit ambitious so will unfortunately never happen which he accepts!
I thank you the reader in advance for taking time to read his story which has changed all of our lives. All donations which are received will go straight to my father to put towards completing his list.
Regards,
Harry Lucock
