Story
Ruby has autism and her dream to help her navigate life for the last couple of years has been to have an ability dog. Recently we contacted Ability Dogs 4 Young People based in the Isle of Wight who have so kindly offered to support us to make this dream come true for her. The charity have been absolutely amazing & quickly & unexpectedly found us a suitable Goldendoodle for us to take on with the offer of supporting us through the owner led 2-3yr training program. So we now have a 12week old puppy adopted into the Lumbard family!
The money raised from Stu’s Skydive will be split between the charity itself & also for travel expenses to visit the charity’s training centre in Sandown, Isle of Wight.
Ability Dogs 4 Young People is an Isle of Wight charity (started April 2012), training assistance dogs to enhance the independence of disabled young people on the Isle of Wight. We train Ability Dogs to help with physical & mental disabilities, including cerebral palsy, autism, diabetes and epilepsy
