Great Britain Sport Ju Jitsu Squad – Local Athletes Sponsorship

Dear Potential Sponsor,

Stuart Ord of Leigh Ju Jitsu club has been selected to compete for Great Britain at the 15th WCJJO World Championships being held in Orlando, Florida, USA on the 6th – 12th August 2019.

This prestigious event which started in 1977 brings competitors and teams from all over the world. At the 2015 World Championships in Geneva, the GB team brought home 5 Golds, 13 Silver and 12 Bronze medals.

Unfortunately Sport Ju Jitsu is not an Olympic sport and therefore receives no funding from UK Sport so all the athletes competing have to fund their own travel, accommodation, training and equipment.

The approximate costs per athlete to compete for the GB team in the USA is £3,000.

There are several ways you can help our athletes bring home medals from the world championships,

Ways you can help -

• Sponsor the Athlete with a larger donation which is tax deductible and have your company’s logo on the athlete’s Sports gear.

This will probably be seen on the local TV news, should they win a medal.

• Assist with training costs and costs of equipment

Stuart is the current British silver medalist in Sport Ju jitsu Masters and we would love to see him achieve the World title belt.
