Andrew Mbeya is a young Tanzania man with a strong passion for the country's wildlife, particularly its Birds. We first met at Saadhani National Park 5 years ago, where he was running a small lodge. I was immediately impressed by him, and his ability to communicate his love for the wildlife to all.

Andrew has very little of his own resources, he has lost all of his blood relatives and has to help support his late Sister's child who suffers from Cerebral Palsy.

Earlier in 2017 over £3,000 was raised through Crowd Funding, to help Andrew complete the Wildlife Technicians course at Mweka College which he had left due to lack of funds.

Now that Andrew is back at Mweka, his Lecturers are clearly impressed by his ability and dedication, and have recommended that, if sponsors can be found, he should take the two year course for the Diploma in Wildlife Management,
