Southampton University Boat Club is raising £1,000 to go towards the fund for a new women’s boat.

The women in recent years have been outperforming their ageing equipment but new boats are too expensive to purchase with the clubs current finances. This fundraiser aims to provide some of the money for another boat. The boat will be used multiple times each week and raced across the country. It will be a tool for the women’s crew to further develop and grow in their success.

The current boat is undergoing repairs and is no longer entirely reliable but for a squad that have multiple sessions each week, this is problematic. Therefore, the club is bonding together to row for 24-hours on the University of Southampton campus and any support you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
