I've raised £2046 to help fund our trip to Berlin for The Sound of Contagion project

The Subito Ensemble has been selected as one of the collaborating artists in The Sound of Contagion project ( https://www.soundofcontagion.com ), a research collaboration between the University of Oxford and the University of the Arts, Berlin. Throughout this project, the ensemble will explore the use of Artificial Intelligence (A.I) by improvising with A. I. and treating it like a live musician. In addition, the ensemble will collaborate with participants that specialize in different disciplines, such as programming, science, visual art, and theatre.
We are honoured to be selected as one of the artists to participate in this 2-day workshop followed by a public performance in Berlin Universität der Künste but we have a limited budget for travel, especially for extra costs on oversized instruments.
We need your support to take advantage of this amazing opportunity which will further develop our artistic approach and further the research into the creative application of artificial intelligence.
*Financial report available upon request.

Comprised of award-winning composers and performers, Subito Ensemble is a contemporary music group specialising in improvisation, experimental music and multi-media art collaboration. The ensemble draws together and performs a diverse range of cultures and music. Subito Ensemble has successfully established itself as a ‘leading innovator’ in Manchester’s contemporary art industry.
Subito Ensemble has been invited to perform in various high-profile events including 'Around the World, Around the Clock (the 20th Year Anniversary of Dance for Parkinson Worldwide Community Festival)', 'Rotation Dance Exchange' (a competitive breakdance and experimental dance event), ‘StART Symposium’ (cross-universities entrepreneurship program), 'KickStART Creative Lab Concert' (cross-universities collaborative program involving multi-disciplinary concerts) and 'Syntropy Art' (a digital meditation platform at which the ensemble works with international visual artists). The annual Subito Festival also showcases its collaborative highlights throughout the year.
Subito Ensemble dedicates itself to exploring the possibilities between different art disciplines. We aim to bring people together through collaborations with dancers, poets, painters, filmmakers, photographers, lighting designers, actors... and hopefully artificial intelligence!
