On Thursday 27th October, Sue Adams had an accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury, this placed her in a natural coma and she was in the ICU for 9 days.

Unfortunately the brain damage was too severe and she did not survive her injuries. She passed away peacefully, aged 59, at 05:00 on Saturday 5th November surrounded by her family and loved ones.

She is survived by her daughter Becka, 28; son Rob, 26; and Poppy Dog, 9.

For those of you that knew Mum well, you'll know that she has suffered enormously over the last 5/6 years with her health. She had Type 1 Diabetes, kidney failure, and 2 rounds of spinal surgery - one that had serious complications which would affect the rest of her life.

In 2015, she received a double transplant of a Pancreas and Kidney. No more Diabetes, and a new lease on life. She still had other health problems to combat, but was on her way to better health and should have been well on her way to finally enjoying her early retirement. Sadly, this was not meant to be.

The final week was in most ways torture, not knowing what would happen and waiting, however it meant everyone got to say goodbye in some way. I got to hear from friends and family just how much she meant to them, and how loved our sleeping beauty was. I'll cherish those last days forever.
