My two beautiful dogs, Lola and Ted, are Romanian dogs rescued from the streets by Roxana Tudose and her team. I work in animal welfare in the UK and have done so for the past 30 years. I know how very hard it is to keep going. This particular group of people have touched my heart with their love and dedication so I want to help them raise some much needed funds.

Here is Roxana's story ...

Every day, and I really mean every day, I take care of about 60 dogs and 20 cats of my own. Cleaning, feeding, going to the vets, everything.
Honestly I haven't had a vacation in 4 years
It is so very hard because we constantly struggle with the everyday expenses, cleaning products, food, vet costs etc. Sometimes I am judged by people for having so many dogs, but how can I say no when people call me all the time with bad cases like dogs or cats hit by cars, abandoned in woods, new born pups, etc? If I don’t help them, who will? They will be left to die or end up in a kill shelter.

We were forced to move from the previous place. This place is much better and we can do a lot here but the rent is huge and we are really struggling. Everyday we feed dogs on the streets, we spay dogs and cats from the streets or from poor people that ask our help. There are so many expenses involved. And trust me when I say I find it so hard when I have to ask for help, for money, really I feel so ashamed, but I cannot do it on my own, it is either asking for help or stop helping these poor souls. They go through so much; I really can't see them in pain and just walk by.

I am so grateful for every bit of help, every pound, every bowl or toy or blanket or food received. :)

And the best thing of all, the one making all it all worth it, is seeing them safe and happy in their warm homes with their loving families. By rehoming my rescues, I can continue to help more of these beautiful souls.
