This year, I’m doing a sponsored walk from Pennington Wharf to Brick Community Stadium in Wigan to raise vital funding for Mackenzie’s grassroots football team, Golborne Pumas. I’m helping to support the ongoing running costs of the team allowing us to expand our team and support the costs of football kit for the team

The team is run by volunteers, and aims to offer the opportunity to participate in outdoor activity aiming:

* improving physical health

* promoting positive mental health

* improving social skills

* improving communication skills

* boosting confidence

* improved problem solving
