Story
As part of my participation in WOAM Ethiopia Trek 2017 I am helping to raise funds for Women for Women UK. Being a South African I'd also like to raise funds for a local organisation which I whole-heartedly believe in. Cornerstone Woman is a non-profit organisation that was established by a group of women passionate about helping other women overcome the effects of abuse and establishing a route to recovery for the family unit. They offer women who are victims of ongoing, destructive cycles of abuse the opportunity to make a new start. It really is an incredible cause and a very much needed one here in South Africa.
