As you all know since 2012 the Kerley family have always felt we should do whatever we can to support those trying to progress research into the causes, care, and ultimately a cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis. This devastating disease has impacted our family beyond words and yet so little is known about it. Although our charitable contributions to date have been small, they are already directly allowing funding for one aspect of research and that really motivates us to continue exploring new ways to raise funds, something we know John would have encouraged completely.
I have therefore committed to walk a section of the Southwest Coast Path that will take me from the most southerly point of England all the way to the most western point of England. The walk from the Lizard to Lands End will be over 50 miles and Rosie and I will be undertaking our walk in October. It's a walk I know John would have loved, and he and I did cover some stretches of this coastline together, I know he'll be with me every step of the way and I hope through your kind support you can also feel a part of my Coastal Challenge. I will post a schedule of my route and timings in due course and if any of you wish to come along for a day or longer then I would love for you to join me.
Just remember that no matter how small your contribution may seem, it really is adding value to progressing research into this area of clinical research and development.
