    Story

Hi there, most of you will know me. I do the admin for Sue Deeth, organise the homechecks, report back, drive the puppies or dogs to their new homes if their new Mum and Dad are unable to make it because of prior commitments, or it is too far, or they cannot drive!!

I am now in need of some help. My gorgeous rescued oriental is in trouble. She has been wheezy lately and it is getting worse. I have taken her to the vet and on the first appointment they tried steroids. The vet said that her chest sounded clear, but they would try steroids. Nothing happened. I took her back and they listened to her chest again and said that they could find nothing wrong but of course I was charged a monitoring fee. I was extremely worried and took her back again for a hospital day where she had blood tests, X ray and other tests. They could find nothing wrong but still she wheezed and seemed to be getting worse. I have now spent a few hundred including a visit to a different vet who said the same. She could find nothing wrong with her but thinks the problem could be a polips or something else but it is certainly in the head and not the chest. She therefore has to have a catscan (seriously) and they have to have another instrument which they have to push down her throat, turn around and investigate her nose. Apparently not many vets have this particular machine and they have to hire it in. I am looking at a bill of between SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY AND FIFTEEN HUNDRED pounds. When I rescued her, I was in full time work and in my mid fifties and could have afforded this, now I am retired and have been for some years, I really cannot afford it and I am wondering if any of you lovely people could help me with a few pounds here and there. If any of you want to see her I put her on facebook a few years ago. She is a gorgeous girl. When I first got her at a year old she had to have lots of teeth removed as she had been fed such rubbish. I urgently need your help please!

I urgently need help for my oriental spotted, Willow to have an endoscopy as her breathing is laboured. I have already paid for three vet appointments and I am now told she needs this tube putting up her nose via her throat. The minimum cost is between £750 and £1000 and could be more. I actually have some money put away for her care but clearly not enough. I seem unable to get help from the PDSA as she is a second pedigree and it is a complete nightmare watching her laboured breathing. Apparently it is not her chest, so she needs a flexib
