TANDEM SKYDIVE

Hi, my name is Sue - some of you will know me and many of you won't! I have been involved with Ann for a while now trying to raise funds when and where l can. My hope is that we can all pull together and raise even more much needed funds with my next venture:

ON FRI 13th OCT l am literally going to plunge from a plane to raise funds for this local charity which has become very close to my heart - Kama's Cave Greyhound Sanctuary. Although Ann takes in some greyhounds from East Anglia Greyhound Trust, for which she does receive funding, she also takes just as many in under the Kama's Cave banner for which she receives no funding at all and relies entirely on public donations! It is this part of her rescue charity that l am fundraising for. Ann runs this on her own and is one of the most giving and selfless people l know. She puts the care and welfare of these ex racing, used and abused hounds above all else. She is a mender of broken spirits, seeing them through various health, emotional and psychological problems as well as socialising and housetraining them and finally finding them the right loving home and their 'forever sofa'. Ann has had one or two setbacks recently but with the help of some dedicated volunteers is bouncing back. As you can imagine, the expense is tremendous to cover such things as utilities, food, equipment, vets bills, maintenance and travelling and the list goes on! Ann does not take a holiday and would sooner go without than let her dogs down. She has been doing this with a passion for over seventeen years. It is simply her life! I admire her, l couldn't do it but l would like to do my bit to help.
