Story

Mr Simpson's Little Consort We want to make this a free event for Stony Stratford's primary schools as part of the Stony Words  literary festival in January.  We  have  lots  of  support  from  the  festival team,  and  a  good  proportion  of  the  cash  we  need.  Lucy (third  pirate  from  the  left!) is  an  author  and  has  donated  her  time  in  writing  the  pirate's  story  -  all  based  on  real  Tudor  pirates  and  characters. Sue is an experienced primary music specialist and has written a supporting pack for the schools (second pirate from the left), and all of us are taking an unpaid day out of teaching to do this. It's  really  important  to  us  that  the  younger  community  get  involved in this amazing festival,  and  we  want  it  to  be  fun  and  educational  at  the  same  time.   We  are  squeezing  as  many  "pirates  for  a  day"  into  the  space  as  we  possibly  can,  but  it  all  costs  money, and  we  know  our  schools  are  struggling  to  provide  glue  sticks  and  pencils,  never  mind  actual  books! It's  not  a  huge  amount  of  money  we  are  looking  to  raise,  so  lots  of  tiny  amounts  of  money  will  make  this  whole  thing  possible.   Thank  you!   Mr Simpson's Little Consort Stony Words
