Amy and I are completing the London to Brighton Bike Ride on Sunday 18th June, wearing our very own Viking Helmets!
🏉 WHY THE VIKING HELMET?🏉
Leighton Buzzard Rugby Clubare proud to display a Viking Helmet on the back of many of our jerseys, this is to represent the Viking Fund and honour the memory of our friend. dad
& my husband, Chris Pearson who was a passionate supporter of youth rugby at Leighton Buzzard RFC.
The Viking Fund was set up in memory of Chris Pearson to support and grow rugby in Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding communities.
The Viking fund is used to educate our volunteer coaches to help develop players, at all levels, at Leighton Buzzard Rugby Club. The Pearson family and the club actively support and add to this fund to ensure that rugby always has a place in Leighton Buzzard and that children can learn and develop their skills as players and active members of the rugby community. memory of Amys dad and my beloved husband who was a passionate supporter of yourYouth RubyRugby at Leighton Buzzard RFC

10 months agoWe just wanted to give you a final update on our bike ride. Firstly…never again 😂🤣 but WE DID IT!! All the money is in & has been counted!! Honestly, we are all completely blown away & overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity. We raised a whopping £3855 in Chris’s memory. Thank you to everyone for donating & supporting us, we really do feel the love ♥️ Sue, Amy & Nikki xxx

We did it. 🎉🎉🚴🏼 It was brutal at times and torrential rain didn’t help but feel sooooo proud that we completed the ride in memory of Chris He really was with us all the way and helped us dig deep. Amy and I want to thank you all so very much for your very generous donations, we are blown away by your generosity. A very BIG thank you to you all 🥰 The atmosphere was fantastic and everyone was so friendly and encouraging.
