Myself and a colleague set ourselves a challenge to plan and organise a 20 mile walk across the Purbecks on Saturday 1st July. We have been busy planning our route which will be starting at Flaghead Chine, Poole along the promenade, over the Sandbanks chain ferry along the sand up and over the hills visiting Swanage and Durlston into Worth Matravers and the final leg to Corfe Castle. This is going to be a challenge but we are in training and plan to finish by 5pm as long as we don't get lost!

We are walking for different charities, I am going to walk 20 miles to raise funds for some play equipment for Chloe and her two brothers.

I have been friends with the family for nearly 40 years and to be able to help Hannah and Peter and their family with this will be amazing as it will instantly give the whole family something to enjoy.

Chloe was born in November 2015, and is currently 18 months old. She has a unique chromosomal abnormality, having both a duplication of a chromosome and a deletion of another, which has presented a large number of major health difficulties.

The family are currently working with their consultant and a number of NHS teams (28 specialist) to try and provide the best quality of life for Chloe and enable her to live as normal and happy life as possible. As Chloe is under three years of age funding for equipment is limited and a number of choices not available, they would love for her to experience sitting, walking and playing. Being able to enjoy the outside as a family this summer would be fantastic and this piece of equipment will give Joshua, Daniel and Chloe a place to play together.
