Sue Melvin fell in love with Peru from her very first visit. From the people she met to the things she saw, her adventures took her to se many parts of Amazonian life.

During her first visit, Sue found a local Library Project running alongside the banks of the Amazon. The project was set up to provide education to local young people and to help young people develop the language skills needed to work within the tourism industries, as oppose to the logging or oil industries.

On Sue's many visits to Peru, she worked within the Library and has done work in the UK to raise money for the project.

Her wish was that any donations, in lieu of flowers, be split between The Library Project and Together Against Cancer (TAC).
