Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
We desperately need to raise money for equipment, venue costs, insurance, training courses and competition costs.
The club was started by dan and louise collins in 2007/2008. They have volunteered for the past 10 years, giving up their spare time to support us at competitions all across the uk and most of their spear time is consumed by writing training programmes and giving nutritional advice most days during the week. They also run the session on the Friday night at east bergholt high school gym which at the moment attendance subs are not quite covering the basic cost of the gym space. They have produced 2 Paralympic bronze medals
Multiple British and English champions in ipc para powerlifting
Also a large amount of able body powerlifting medals as we have both disabled and able powerlifters at the same club
They currently have an athlete that has a world ranking in the mens u72kg at 11th in the world and rising
They also have a 2xbronze Paralympic medallist and world ranked number 3 in the woman's u44kg class
They also support people that just want to get out and get fit.
Please donate whatever you can and help us reach our total to help the club keep running and achieving great things in the future
