Story

PC Sukh Singh joined the Metropolitan Police Service in 2009, bringing with him a rich life experience. A passionate Liverpool FC fan, Sukh enjoyed a varied career in the MPS, serving the people of east and north east London for 12 years. Sukh was part of Forensic Services, specializing in Imagery. Sukh was going for promotion and also looking forward to starting in a new role in February. Sukh had many friends in the MPS, creating a positive impression with all those he worked with, transcending to partners within the CPS who loved his ‘can do’ attitude. There are many positive words that have been said of Sukh Singh… ‘An absolute diamond’, ‘a genuine guy with a cheeky grin’, ‘kind hearted and a gentle soul’ and a ‘top bloke’.

Sadly, in December 2020, Sukh contracted COVID 19 and was hospitalised. Despite a brave battle against the disease, he finally succumbed on 26th January 2021, aged 46. Sukh was a dedicated family man and leaves his wife Kam and children Taran and Jasmeet. This appeal is to raise funds to support Sukh's family as they head into an uncertain future without their steadfast husband and father.
