In Memory of Sukhwinder Singh

Sukhwinder was a skilled and dedicated child care lawyer working for Birmingham Children’s Trust. For thirty years she had worked tirelessly pursuing the best possible outcomes for some of the most vulnerable children and young people in Birmingham. She was much loved and valued by her family, friends and colleagues. Sukhwinder passed away suddenly on 4 September 2018.

At the time of their loss her family want her memory to be honored through the establishment of a charitable fund in Sukhwinder’s name, which will raise and direct funds to support children in the care of the Trust to benefit from learning opportunities and experiences that might not otherwise be available to them. This is something that was always very close to Sukhwinder’s heart.

Birmingham Children’s Trust will work with Sukhwinder’s family to administer the fund and make sure it can create a lasting legacy for this remarkable woman.
