Story

Just before Christmas the opportunity to take part in the London Marathon occurred. Me in my wisdom decided that this was a challenge that I would set for myself. And yes I was nominated and won one of the 40 places being offered to London schools from Daily Mile!

I started my training late December, 3 runs and a swimming session. My most recent achievements are me covering 14 miles in my long runs and losing over one stone.

I would like to use this opportunity to not only get fit but raise funds for the special needs school that I teach at, Shenstone School. The most amazing children attend this school and every single day I am proud to work with them. I‘ve been working at this school for the last 21 years and that in itself speaks volumes. Please sponsor me so that together we can continue to give our special children the opportunities to learn, develop and achieve to their full potential. My pledge is to commit 100% to my training and to crossing that finish line.
