Story
Living in London I have seen many people living on the streets with no food or water as they are unable to afford it.
From doing research on homelessness in London, statistics show that an estimated 4,751 people bedded down outside overnight in 2017, up 15% on the previous year.
Ever since 2017 Ramadan, I felt like the need to do something but something that not only would benefit me but other.
#feedthehomelessandpoor is a small organisation I have created with the help of my sisters, by using our own money from our part time jobs, just so people have food in their mouths. My father is a core member of a local community charity in Clayhall which has given me inspiration to do a lot o charity work.
This is why I am appealing to you, to raise more funds as I am hoping to expand this simply by asking for your help. All that I am asking for is for you to donate money not matter how big or small whether it is 1p or 20p.
This is an act of charity and kindness. One person can make a massive difference.
The money in which is donated, I make little care packages by buying food which includes fruit, protein bars, yogurt, snacks, water and juice.
Thank you
