We were disappointed to hear the news that precious memorabilia was sadly taken from the Mi Amigo memorial and saddened by the news of how heartbroken Tony was. We regularly use the park for club runs and fitness sessions and see the selfless work that Tony puts in to upkeeping the memorial.

The club decided to set up a charity initiative to help do our bit to make this better in any way we can. We decided we would cover 1944km in a week (starting 24th April) to help raise money for Tony.

We were delighted to hear the news that most of the precious memorabilia was found, but wanted to continue the fundraising effort to show Tony that his work is greatly appreciated by those who use the park. The money raised will go towards the upkeep of the memorial and planting of new flowers.
