Weʼve raised £950 to Buy a local child packed lunches for the Summer Holidays
- Addlestone & Chertsey
- Funded on Monday, 3rd September 2018
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Following the success of last year's project, when we gave out over 1,200 lunches to local children in the Addlestone and Chertsey area, we are continuing the scheme in 2018. With the support of Tesco and Runnymede Foodbank we calculate we can provide a fresh packed lunch 5 days a week for the month of August for only £12 per child.
Could you spare £12 to help fund a nourishing, healthy lunch for a child in your local community?
Donations can be handed into HeBrews Coffee Shop or St Paul's Parish Office or you can make a donation via this page. (Gift Aid is optional)
The Summer Lunch project will run Monday to Friday from 6th to 31st August. Food will be distributed from accessible pick up points in the local community.
All children will be welcome to take lunch regardless of circumstances.

About the fundraiser
Addlestone & Chertsey
Our church community is responding to the concern that some children return to school in September undernourished and this impacts their learning potential. We also wanted to tackle unnecessary food waste and redirect it to those that need it most hence The Summer Lunch Project.
