Summer needs a wheelchair to get around, and has fantastic wheels for home and school. Summer was born with multiple complex medical conditions, one of which is Athrogryposis, she has multiple upper and lower body joint contractures,this means her joints are either in a fixed or permanant bent position, she will need a wheelchair into adulthood. She lives in Shetland, a wild and beautiful place, but with limited accessible paths. However, as with any curious 5 year old, she would love to enjoy the outdoors more. Recently her family were able to borrow an 'off-road' chair and could enjoy a day at the beach. She could watch her brother and sister enjoy the water and be out in the fresh air with her family. Being able to access Shetlands natural landscape would greatly improve Summer's quality of life. Please help fund some new wheels for this amazing little lady. 🥰 I am her Auntie, and have been amazed at how Summer has battled through multiple operations and procedures, she is one tough little cookie!
