Story
Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it. (Helen Keller)
Many of you will, by now, know what we are attempting to achieve in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. We've set up this page should you wish to help us with our endeavours throughout the winter months.
The current pandemic has exacerbated the problems brought by abject poverty, so our role has become wider and more varied. From running a village school to providing family food parcels. From assisting with genuine emergency hospital bills to replacing a donkey. (No, we didn't replace a donkey; but we were asked to. It was not a genuine case.) We are a faith based Christian Charity, so will always assist where we can, irrespective of race, colour, creed, religion or gender. It is what we are called to do. Poverty cares not for boundaries, so neither do we. OWWM is the SMALL Charity with the BIG heart.

Those who have come to know us well, know that we always relay what we do through Twitter and Facebook. (As I type this, our website is still defunct.) This is a general giving page. The food parcels distribution will continue, certainly throughout the winter. We have no idea what the next few months will bring, but 'many and varied' springs to mind. Your generosity both in word and deed, seems to know no bounds. We love you for it, and so do many children and a few adults who have benefitted. We look forward to your continued support, with a great deal of thanks.

It would also mean a lot if you could share our fundraiser link on social media. The more exposure we get, the faster we will reach our target. Everything we do can be found on our Facebook page. You can follow all that we do on our Facebook ( https://web.facebook.com/OWWMission/) and Twitter(@welfare_one) pages. (Our website is currently defunct, but we hope that we'll have a new one very soon.)
You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late. (Ralph Waldo Emerson)
