I've raised £500 to help fund a SupaJam student through their education

SupaJam Education in Music and Media (SupaJam) is a multi award winning Post 16 Specialist Provider set up by David Court and Nick Stillwell to work with vulnerable young people aged 16-24 in the South East and South London.
Often suffering from low self esteem and poor mental health these wonderful young people have previously struggled in formal education.
At SupaJam we embrace all our learners for who they are as people, celebrate their existing skills and use the music industry to reignite their desire to learn.
We currently have over 70 students with us and a second base opening in East Kent in September.
All our students study the RSL Music Practitioners Diploma at Levels 1, 2 and 3, alongside Functional Skills, GCSE English & Maths, Work Experience, PHSE, Practical Musicianship and Life Skills Sessions, infused with guest speakers and professionals from within the music industry.
An amazing 87% of this years Level 3 extended diploma students were offered places at university this year. An amazing, life changing result.
For the second year running Gill Tee and Debs Shilling (Black Deer promotors) have given SupaJam students the opportunity to curate and run their own stage at Black Deer.
Regular Black Deer workshops allow students to explore all of the job roles available to them when working at a music festival, before putting theory into practice at the festival itself.
Take a look at the video below from last year...
SupaJam is funded directly by the Department for Education and Kent County Council but, we do have a number of students who cannot get funded because of their age. If you would like to help one of these young people stay in education, please donate whatever you can afford.
Last year one of our students was funded this way, went on to achieve her Level 3 Diploma, and has now received one conditional and two unconditional offers for university next year.
A truly life changing opportunity that supporters of SupaJam made possible.
