Story
I had the dream of building a meditation centre over 10 years ago when my work started to take off in Thailand. My teaching has helped so many people understand how their mind-consciousness works and provides them with tools and techniques to live a happier, healthier and more fulfilled life.
My method of mindfulness meditation is based on the idea of what I call ‘bringing your mental self back home’ (BMSBH). My aim is to use the new centre as a base and retreat for people to come and learn this valuable life skill.
Using the framework of the Four Noble Truths, as taught by the Buddha over two thousand years ago, I help and empower my students to cultivate an inner peace that is closer to home than they realise. My approach is simple, direct and accessible to people of all ages.
After graduating from University 43 years ago, I bought a small plot of land just outside Bangkok. One of my students who runs an architectural firm called 'OWN' generously helped with the design and estimated the total build cost at £350,000. As all my work is non-profit it has been through generous donations that we have raised £275,000.
The centre will be the perfect setting in which to practise meditation with light and airy rooms all looking out on to the natural surroundings, there will be space inside and out to practise Tai Chi as well as other games and activities I use in my teaching. A kitchen and cafe will be also be open for people to practise mindful cooking and eating.

We are making such great progress in bringing this beautiful centre to life. The build started in September 2018 and this photo was taken in June 2019. We are nearly there - to complete the build we need to raise the last amount of £55,000 which includes work on the interior. We are so close in our dream of building this meditation centre which is a gift for future generations. I am now asking for you to help us realise this dream.

The link below is the crowdfunding video I made in 2016, although we have modified the design now so that it is simpler and keeps within the budget.
All your help no matter how small would be greatly appreciated and enable future generations to learn the vital tool of BMSBH mindfulness meditation. I look forward to welcoming you to the centre on its completion!
With gratitude and appreciation,
Supawan Green
