I've raised £2500 to Fund life changing surgery for Cooper the rescue dog

Cooper was rescued by Homeless Hounds in 2018, having lived in a shed with 3 other dogs. Cooper was taken to the vets due to a large lump on his bottom which had been there for some time. It was advised that the lump was cancerous and inoperable, placing a short timespan on Cooper's life. His amazing foster mum Karen came forward to provide him with his forever home for as long as he had.
Cooper has since learnt how to play thanks to his sister Tess, loves his walks exploring with his friends. Cooper has captured the hearts of everyone who meets him.
Karen never fully accepted Cooper's prognosis, and after recently hearing of a specialist vet, took Cooper for further investigations. A CT scan has revealed that the lump, which has grown significantly, has its own blood supply but is in fact operable. Initially it was thought surgery would be too risky with the likelihood that it would be attached to his bowel however the scan has shown this isn't the case. Cooper has been on steroids and medication for pain hence his weight gain, to keep him comfortable. He has suffered from pain in his back due to the weight of the lump however quality of life still outweighed this and Cooper has lived his life to the fullest since being with Karen and Tess.
Cooper now has a chance of that quality of life improving tenfold. Without the weight of the lump, he will be able to run, play, be pain free and truly live his best life.
He has already defied the odds in terms of his original prognosis and his fighting spirit, his beautiful kind nature and cheeky personality continue to prevail.
Homeless Hounds are a very small charity who provide stray, abandoned and abused dogs with a chance of a happy ever after. The cost of this surgery is going to be significant therefore raising funds for Cooper is imperative.
Please help give this boy the life he truly deserves, every little helps.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Cooper, Tess, Karen and all of his friends xx
