John le Monnier, current vice president of the JMC & LCC and friend and competitor of the wider trials and motorsport families in Jersey had an accident on 10th November 2024 and has sustained significant and life changing head and spinal injuries.

John has been flown to Southampton hospital where he will undergo emergency surgery to try and stabilize his neck and spine in the hope that he may be able to regain feeling again in his limbs.

John’s close family members have flown across to be by his side and so we would like to do what we can to try and reduce any financial burden for them during this time.

Johns family have been advised that at this stage it’s likely that John is going remain in Southampton hospital for a minimum of 12 weeks.

We would like to help cover the costs to allow Johns family to remain by his side throughout this period and assist with any other medical costs and requirements in the future as they arise.

All funds raised will be withdrawn and sent to John’s family immediately to assist with the above.

Any donation amount, no matter how small would be greatly appreciated and will go a long way to taking some of the financial pressures off John and his family whilst they navigate the next few months and into the future.

John has given years of his time and efforts in supporting trials and motorsports as a whole in Jersey, now its time for us as friends and fellow competitors to repay the favor and support him as much as we can.
