I've raised £10000 to help give back to those giving everything.

**UPDATE** Due to the success of this project and the generous donations that our community have given us, we have decided to open this up to care workers in the community as well as our NHS staff. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this happen, we appreciate your continued support.
Our NHS workers at Furness General Hospital are working tirelessly around the clock helping patients fight the horrible outbreak that is Covid-19. Under the strains and stress that this epidemic is bringing, we want to give back to the people who help us, when we are at our most vulnerable, which is our fantastic, hard working NHS staff.
Our project, with your help, is to create gift boxes to give to the NHS staff. These gift boxes can include anything from toilet roll, to toothpaste to a nice bottle of well deserved champagne. We are working with Barrow Cricket Club, located just next to the hospital where NHS heroes can collect their gift boxes from our as sterile as possible collection point when finishing or starting their shift. This will help reduce staff taking a trip to the shops or super markets, which may assist in reducing the need to handle cash, mixing with others and handling food that others may have touched and put back on the shelves. Instead we are offering the front line team essentials and some luxury products as a thank you from the community of Furness. We are also working with many local business' who are kindly sourcing a variety of food and essential items that we hope the NHS staff will be grateful for.
If you want to help support our NHS, and give back to those giving everything, our non-profit volunteer project will put all donations raised towards items in their gift boxes and any funds left over will be donated to St. Mary's Hospice.Thank you.
