Story

Hi Everyone,

As some of you may know, I am travelling to India in April with a team of students from St Mary’s and Stranmillis to work with a brilliant charity called Saphara. We will spend 10 days in India and will be teaching in schools in both New Deli and Dehradun.

Before I head over I aim to raise £800 to help support the amazing work Saphara does to empower impoverished children in India. This is even more important now as SNEHA ( a school we will work in) has been very badly damaged in recent floods, so every penny raised really is vital.

All of the teams food, transport and accomodation is paid for by the universities through DMU, so not a penny of donations will go towards our expenses.

Thanks in advance,

Laura
