Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! The Abuse Team at Simpson Millar is raising money for Saint Mary’s Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) to support the incredible work they do for survivors of sexual abuse and violence.

What’s Happening

We’re hosting a bake sale on Tuesday, 4th February 2025, from 12:00pm to 2:30pm, at Cubo, 2nd Floor, within the Lincoln Building, Manchester.

This event is part of Sexual Abuse & Sexual Violence Awareness Week, a national initiative dedicated to raising awareness and supporting survivors. All proceeds will go directly to SARC, helping them continue their essential work providing care, support, and advocacy for those affected.

Mini Egg Competition

As part of the fundraiser, we’re also running a Mini Egg Competition! To take part:

• Donate £1.50 or more to this JustGiving page.

• Leave your guess for how many mini eggs are in the jar in the comment section of your donation.

At the end of the day, the person with the closest guess will win the jar of mini eggs!

About the Awareness Week and SARC

Sexual Abuse & Sexual Violence Awareness Week is a national campaign that aims to raise awareness of the impact of sexual violence and to encourage open conversations about prevention, support, and justice for survivors.

Saint Mary’s SARC provides vital support to men, women, and children who have experienced rape or sexual assault in the Greater Manchester area. Their comprehensive services include:

• Immediate crisis care and counselling.

• Medical and forensic examinations to support investigations if needed.

• Long-term aftercare services, including sexual health screenings and access to Independent Sexual Violence Advisors.

Their compassionate and dedicated team ensures that survivors feel supported, informed, and in control of their decisions, regardless of whether they choose to involve the police.
