Writing this is hard for me, I’ve never wanted to write this because I’ve always felt the more I don’t talk about it the easier it will be, but I have realised that this is life and it’s real! It has been an extremely hard year having not only my best friend, but my mum, learn to live with an injury that has changed her life. Last November my mum had a horrible accident resulting in a spinal chord injury causing her to be paralysed from the neck down. It has been a tough journey with ups and downs and many changes to our lives. We are so close to having her back home and I can’t wait. We have both had so much support from so many incredible people that we are beyond grateful to have around us.

I have decided to make a just giving page for my mum, there will expenses that will be needed to continue this new chapter of her life once she is home. Mum is the most generous woman I know, it’s not something she would have ever asked for but is so grateful for the people that have helped us and want to help x I am so thankful for everyone that has stuck by me and my family and continue to support us💕
