My name is Maurize Ballesteros, I started this crowdfunding to raise donations for medical expenses of my cousin in the Philippines, Faith Ballesteros.

Faith is a funny, caring and very sweet girl who is also known as a family oriented person who is always there to give a smile.

She has been diagnosed Guillaine-Barre Syndrome.

Guillain-Barré syndrome is a rare but serious autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks healthy nerve cells in your peripheral nervous system (PNS).

This leads to weakness, numbness, and tingling, and can eventually cause paralysis.

The cause of this condition is unknown, but it’s typically triggered by an infectious illness.

She is currently paralyzed and is in the hospital for almost 6 months. She is currently under Intensive Care Unit where doctors and nurses are monitoring her health and improvement.

The support coming from her family and loved ones has helped them in coping up their soaring medical expenses. However, seeing them going through this tough times are unbearable, this is the reason why I have started this crowdfunding to ask for help. Her medical treatments and expenditures, can be very expensive especially with her rare condition. We are humbly asking for your financial support to improve her health. Any amount of money that you can share will be greatly appreciated.
