On the 11th of August a tropical storm has swept through Sao Vicente island causing catastrophic flooding.

The impact has been devastating—families have been displaced, homes destroyed, and as of now, we tragically report that nine lives have been lost.

Many families are left with nothing. Homes have been submerged, possessions washed away, and livelihoods shattered.

Imagine waking up to find your home underwater, your family scattered, and your future uncertain. This is the reality for many in Salamansa. The community is grieving, struggling to comprehend the loss, and trying to piece their lives back together. They need our support now more than ever.

What We Aim to Achieve:

In partnership with Biosfera CV We have launched this crowdfunding campaign with a goal of raising £5,000 to provide immediate relief to the people of the village These funds will go directly towards:

- Food and Water: We aim to provide nutritious meals and clean drinking water to families who have lost everything.

- Essential Supplies: This includes clothing, hygiene products, and household essentials that will help families rebuild their lives.
