JAI NEEDS A SENSORY ROOM & PORTABLE HOIST

This is my son Jai, who is 12 years old, who has profound and complex special needs; he has a rare genetic disorder known as FoxG1 syndrome which has severely delayed his development. He has epilepsy, severe involuntary movements with dystonia, which stop him doing what he wants to do causing him to become very frustrated and uncomfortable. He is not able to speak, walk, do anything for himself and is incontinent.
Despite this he never seases to amaze me as he loves life, always enjoying every moment for what it is; he is a happy smiley little boy who brings joy to everyone he meets. He loves being outside, spending time in his swing, at the park and his very special hottub he had given to him from the amazing charity, Make A Wish as his favourite activity is being in water. He also loves lights, colours, music, sensory rooms and cuddles.
As he grows and gets older it is getting harder and harder for Jai to access much of life enjoying normal activities that a more able bodied child can do.
I am a single parent endeavouring to enhance my sons life; going out with him is getting harder and harder; he really needs a portable hoist that I can take out with us, enabling him to use park playgrounds, to go out on picnics, to visit friends and family and even make it possible for me to help him access his much loved hottub.

I also dream of creating him his own sensory room with special bubble tube that changes colour, lights, sound box all with special switches that he can operate himself as he loves to feel independant doing things for himself.

He is the light in my life and for many others who know him...
Please help Jai to live the best life he can - any donation helps
