Help Jason Rebuild His Life with Dignity 💙

I’ve created this JustGiving page to support my dear friend Jason, whose story is one of unimaginable hardship and quiet resilience. Please take a moment to read below and understand why I’m reaching out for your help.

In 2021, Jason contracted COVID-19—and life as he knew it collapsed. The virus left him 95% bedbound with Long COVID - on top of his exsisting MECFS condition which rendered him housebound previously, now circumstances changed forcing him to give up his beloved seaside flat and independence. For the past three and a half years, Jason has endured a harrowing ordeal: shuffled between four care homes, each failing to meet his complex needs. He’s faced neglect, malpractice, and abuse—his health deteriorating so severely he was hospitalised multiple times, including spending Christmas alone in a hospital bed, abandoned and suffering.

Now, for the first time in years, Jason has a glimmer of hope. The council has awarded him a permanent flat—a sanctuary where he can finally set boundaries, demand respect, and live in safety. But the flat is completely empty. Jason must move in by **8th September 2025**, and urgently needs to raise **£3,000** to furnish it with essentials: a bed, bedding, curtains, white goods, flooring, disability aids, a commode, a small sofa, and the basic comforts that make a home liveable. He has even lost all his personal belongings such as clothes.

Jason deserves peace, dignity, and a space where his health and humanity are honoured. Your support—no matter how small—will help rebuild his life from the ground up.
