My dad and I are raising money for my sister, Megan and her husband, Cody.

In 2016 Cody underwent surgery to remove a large mass that was growing in his brain and has since had multiple rounds of chemotherapy. The treatment was successful for a while, but in August 2021 Cody had to undergo further brain surgery. Despite this surgery and subsequent chemotherapy the tumor is growing aggressively and Cody is having more surgery in October 2021. Alongside this, Megan has recently undergone surgery to remove cancer in her thyroid and surrounding lymph nodes and is due to have further treatment later in the year.

Treatment and recovery has meant a substantial loss of income for Megan and Cody.  They are in need of funds to support them during and after this process as well as to help with the medical bills that are piling up. 

To help raise money my Dad and I, with the support of friends, are undertaking a 137 mile, coast to coast bike ride from Whitehaven to Sunderland on 19th November 2021.
We are looking to complete the challenge in 3 days, camping overnight at checkpoints along the way.
