I've raised £1000 to help support my family.

*My mum has no idea about this page, so please do not mention anything to her if you are a family member or friend. Thank you.*
In May this year, my 22 year old brother was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer. He found out on a Tuesday and had the tumour removed on the Friday. Unfortunately, scan results revealed that the cancer had spread to his abdomen and he needed 9 weeks of chemotherapy. The last three months have been very hard for the family and on the 27th September we find out if the chemotherapy worked. He has been unable to work due to him having a manual job outside and had not been working at his company long enough to get full sick pay, only statutory.
On the 14th September my mum was diagnosed with MDS Cancer. This means she needs a bone marrow transplant to cure her. To have one member of your family diagnosed with cancer is devastating, but two family members in the same year is hard to describe. My mum cannot start her treatment for another 4 months due to needing to find the right match for her bone marrow. Once her treatment starts she will be unable to work for 6 to 12 months and she will only receive 6 months full pay when her leave from work begins.
Last year before my brother was diagnosed we had planned to go on a cruise. This was obviously cancelled. It would be amazing if we could raise some money so that once my mum is fit and healthy she can finally go on the cruise she deserves. My mum is the strong one that holds me, my brother and my dad together. She's the core of our family, supporting us all through our ups and downs. I would love to be able to surprise her with this when all the hard times are over, she really deserves it.
I know money won't solve any of the heartache that we're going through but I just want to make sure that my mum has something to look forward to after all this. My mum had wished she could take my brothers place when he was diagnosed in May, to then be diagnosed 4 months later herself, she is praying that my brother gets the all clear on the 27th.
Thank you for your support, it is greatly appreciated.
