Since August 2017 we have been working working in the community of Villa del Socorro ( Medellin) to give to young children a safe space to play, learn about their rights and plan positive futures.

The families of these children have been forced to move to Medellin as victims of threats, abuse and violence from the guerrilla and paramilitary groups. They have now been housed in the periphery of Medellin, in an area know for the high presence of criminal activities. Although they now have proper houses, they still lack opportunities for employment and education. Only the 35% of the families of the community has a source of income. In this situation even the smallest expense such a school uniform, represents a big challenge to the families.

We want to support 20 children aged 7 to 15 trough their difficult journey in the public school!!!

By making a donation of 20 pounds you are choosing to support one of our 20 children by: 1)buying them a school uniform, 2) buying them a school kit 3) giving them access to school support and language classes outside school hours.

If you give us your contact details we will send you a picture and a letter from the specific child that you are supporting. You will also be updated on his scholastic progress.
