Heidi is doing the Muddy 5km race for life after hearing the advert on the radio on the way to school she asked if she could do it and raise money for her dance friend “Lily Douglas” Who is battling a very aggressive form of cancer. The money raised will be split 50/50 between Lily & Cancer Research.

Lily is the most kindest happiest little girls you will ever meet, she lights up every room she walks into with that big smile she always has on her face! She is a complete inspiration along with her mum Jane!. We really would like to raise some money so that Lily can make some incredible memories with her family. She has been told this past week that they are now in “Palliative Care” so we want to keep positive just like Jane & lily always are & try and help her make all the amazing memories she deserves💗

Lily’s Story- (Written By Mum Jane)

Lily was a fit and healthy 9 year old who dance 20-30 hours a week one day back in april 2017 lily was at a dance competition and complained of a sore shoulder , that night when i looked at it properly i found a lump we took her to the doctors the next day who refered her for a scan the following day , that evening after lots of test the told us lily had a tumor , i never panicked as i assumed it was not cancerous , after many more tests, the following week we were given the devestating news lily had stage 4 cancer , ewings sercoma a very rare childhood bone cancer it had spread to both her lungs the news was horrendious , we knew her chances at that point were only 15-30 % , since then lily has undergone 2 years of chemotherapy , proton beam theraphy in jacksonville florida for 3 months , dendridic cell therapy in spain ,and removal of her shoulder blade and surrounding muscles , many more operations and major infections , and has relapsed again to both her lungs her surrival satistic rates are very bleek. we are praying everyday a cure will come along. 💗
