    Story

'The Revert Hub' initiative was launched in 2017 to help assist those that have embraced the religion of Islam. Our aims are to assist their spiritual development, help connect them with other Muslims and the community and to be there in times of need.

One of the key reasons why The Revert Hub was set up was because we found that new converts can often be the only Muslim in their family and circle of friends, or perhaps they have a Muslim family but there is no wider Muslim community and support network.

When someone becomes Muslim or is interesting in embracing Islam, the idea of brotherhood and being part of a global community of over 1 billion followers is very appealing. However sometimes an individual, for one reason or another can lose contact with those that helped them become Muslim.

For these reasons and other factors, there can be a feeling of isolation or even lack of guidance and direction. A common story we also hear about are reverts finding themselves on the own during special occasions such as Ramadhan and Eid.

The Revert Hub was therefore set up to help these new Muslims. Within hours of launching our website we recieved requests from Muslims for assistance.

The work of the organisation is primarily aimed at those that have recently become Muslim but is also open to Muslims who have returned to practising their faith, Muslims who due to circumstances may find themselves in similar situations as described above and also those who may be interested in either learning about or actually embracing the religion.

The Revert Hub need the help of the community so we can provide these services, which are at no cost to those that need them. We receive no corporate or government funding or grants and are therefore appealing to the generousity of the community. What ever you can afford to give, whether it is £10, £100 or £1000, it will be greatly appreciated by not only ourselves but those who need our services.

£10 will put a copy of the Quran in the home of a new Muslim, or in the home of someone that may be interested in becoming Muslim. £100 will fund a workshop to help teach new Muslims how to pray or to learn more about the religion. £1000 will help us put on an event in Ramadhan to provide iftar to hundreds of these Muslims.

Please help and give what you can to help us carry out our work and to provide these much needed services.
