In the remote village of Yumbe, Uganda, hundreds of families live without basic necessities. Yumbe is located in the northern part of Uganda, approximately 500 kilometers (about 310 miles) from the capital city, Kampala. The journey from Kampala to Yumbe typically takes 8 to 10 hours by road
