Story
#GiveItUp for Parth and help bridge the gap between teaching and learning!
Give up something you could live without and donate the money you would normally spend on that item to Parth. Choose from a variety of things to give up, including coffee, chocolate, beer, wine, eating out, shopping, junk food and luxury items or you could give up your own thing!
Why give it up for Parth?
At Parth, we work with parents to help them realize how their role extends beyond sending their child to school. We guide teachers to assess each child’s level, prepare detailed class goals and regularly reflect and re-assess their improvement. We help supervisors set a clear vision for the school and empower their teachers to be better educators. We aim to create a learning environment that encourages parents, teachers, principals & supervisors to work together to achieve meaningful, holistic education for all children.
You can help us reach our mission, ‘Bridging the gap between teaching and learning’ by giving it up and donating the money you would normally spend on a luxury item to Parth.
For those who dare, you can give up more than one thing!
How it works:
1. Choose what you are willing to give up
2. Calculate how much you would normally spend
3. Give it up for an hour, a day, a week, a month or even forever!
4. Donate the proceeds to Parth
Help us continue the #GiveItUp chain:
1. Let your family, friends and colleagues know what you’re giving up. Tag three friends and challenge them to do the same.
2. Post, tweet, pin, share!
3. Tag us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
4. While posting on social media use the hashtags
#GiveItUp for Parth aims to engage family, friends followers, supporters and the general public to raise money to help Parth bridge the gap between teaching and learning.
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”

I have grown up experiencing the gap in education between the privileged and under-privileged in India and want to do my bit in bridging it so that eventually every child receives equal opportunities to succeed. Give up drinks, a movie or even a plane ticket to support this!
