We have set up this appeal to help friends of Neil Burns (Surana) with costs involved in his funeral. Neil died suddenly and unexpectedly at his home in Spain last week. As friends of Neil and close friends of his sister Osadhi, we wanted to express our love and support for Neil's family and friends and offer some practical support.

It has been a shocking and difficult time, and Osadhi and her mother Anne are deeply grateful for all the help and support they have received both in the UK and in Spain. They do not want any financial assistance themselves. However, there have been considerable costs incurred by those who have flown to Spain to help this week and attend Neil's funeral tomorrow (Friday 8 December).

The money raised here will allow help to be given where needed.

Any extra money raised will be given to the school where Neil was a primary teacher. He was clearly loved by his pupils and colleagues, which has been really apparent this week. He was a big-hearted man who touched many lives.

If you would like to donate, please do. However, if you are not in a position to do this, please don't feel any pressure. Osadhi was very keen to emphasise this point, and express her appreciation for all the messages of love and support she and her mum have received.

The page will close on 5th January, after which the money raised will be released to Osadhi. Please help us reach our target of £2000 and share this page with all who may wish to give.
