To get our squad running is quite a task but what better way to kick start our year than to do it raising money for such great causes - Cancer Research UK and our rowing club. We will be splitting the donations raised 50/50 between the two.

Cancer, unfortunately, is something that needs no introduction and effects us all and so when choosing a charity, Cancer Research UK was the one we could all relate too. We hope we can contribute towards the fight against cancer and the fantastic work Cancer Research carry out. Secondly, we want to help Swansea University rowing club make the step up into pushing into top places at national competitions and so to do that we greatly need some funds for new equipment.
