On July 16, at around 1am, my sister Rotcivanil Compra and her partner Alfredo Dagohoy were bound for work, as they are both working at a call center or customer service. They were about to cross the pedestrian lane when suddenly a motorcycle participating in a DRAG RACE hit them. Her partner suffered broken bones; his legs and jaw were crushed. But my sister was to one who was hit really bad. She is now in a critical condition. Both of them are in an ICU at SPMC.

They must undergo surgery AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. However, the operations required are very expensive. The operation of my sister alone would cost 253,700 pesos or approximately $4885 and her partner 260,000 pesos or approximately $5000. That is only operations without medical costs.

The driver of the motorcycle who hit my sister and her partner cannot provide for the amount of the operations since he and his family are also drained of funds, considering that the driver was also taken in the hospital.

My sister is the breadwinner of the family. She and his partner has a 5-month old baby still needing of love and care only a mother can give. She is a very good woman. As well as her partner is a very good father, he is the one providing everything for their baby.

Now, I appeal to those with a good heart. This sudden hospital confinement and operations caused a heavy emotional, spiritual and financial burden to our family.

We are appealing and reaching out to kind and generous hearts to help us fund my sister and her partner's growing medical bills.
