Story
Our darling family member/friend, Suri, tragically lost her battle with cancer last year at the tender age of 34. She dedicated her time, energy and love to the children in her care at a local Jewish kindergarten. During her fourteen years within the kindergarten's employ, initially as a teacher and later as Deputy Headteacher, Suri devoted many an hour of her personal time frequenting charity shops and car boot sales in an effort to procure toys for the kindergarten which were within its budget. She would then wash and clean the toys so that they sparkled and were crispy clean and ready for use.
When one loses someone dear, one's greatest fear is that people will forget who she/he was. We don't want Suri's heartwarming trademark - her love for people generally and children in particular - to ever die. Please help us ensure that her legacy lives on and is memorialised.
In this vein, we have set up this charity - (although as yet it is fledgling and does not have a charity number) - providing toys and games to children of all ages anywhere within the UK whose parents, due to financial or other constraints, cannot acquire toys from the shops. All toys will be wrapped up and delivered at a mutually convenient time and the recipients' privacy is our priority. If a recipient wishes to remain anonymous, we will respect that wish and will send the toys in a taxi to an address of his/her choice rather than delivering the toys personally.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for helping to make this dream a reality. May you be blessed.
